Most days are outside days. Students should line up at their outside classroom door.
We determine whether it is an inside day as early as possible on a day to day basis. Taken into consideration is the temperature (20 degrees or above), precipitation, wind, heat etc.
If you see green flags outside, this signifies that it's an inside day when the students arrive. Students should not be dropped off prior to 7:25, at which time they will be allowed to go inside on their own to stand in line, quietly, by their classroom door. When students enter the school they are safe and it is unnecessary for parents to stay till the bell rings.
Even if it's an inside day first thing in the morning, it's likely that students will go outside for recess as the temperatures usually warm up as the day goes on.
Students are expected to be properly dressed during cold weather. On cold days students need warm coats, mittens or gloves, hats and boots if it's snowy or very wet out. PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOUR CHILD HAS PROPER CLOTHING FOR THESE DAYS!
